Warmington and Arlescote together form a small parish of about 120 houses just five miles north of Banbury.

Warmington, according to Pevsner, is a show village of Warwickshire. Built largely of local Ironstone and nestled on the slope of Edgehill it is just inside the Cotwolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is truly lovely place to live.

St Michael's Church, Grade 1 listed, was started in the 12th Century and stands proud above the Village. The graveyard contains many listed headstones - some with fine carving, including one to Captain Alexander Gourdin who died at the Battle of Edgehill in 1642,
